Happy 1st Birthday Jake!

I cannot even believe that my little boy is one year old. It is so cliche, but the time has just flown by this past year. I can still remember feeling him move around in my belly & being so eager for him to come out & join us. (Little did I understand just what an impact he would make!) And those first few days when I was so especially amazed at what a miracle God had given us to enjoy. What a gift. Every day is better because he is part of it. His little hugs and kisses just melt my heart. There is nothing a smile or a giggle from him can't make better. Everyone tells you, but you just can't imagine it until you are living it...being a mother is the most wonderful thing in the world. I am a better person because of my little Jake. I cannot imagine now my life without him!
